WHILE WORKING ON THIS MODEL I LEARNT THE PROPORTIONS , DIFFERENT TYPES OF FORCES ACTING WITHIN THE STRUCTURE WHICH IS KEEPING THE STRUCTURE STABLE, BEHAVIOUR OF MATERIAL , AND HOW GEOMETRY PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE STRUCTURE

THIS WAS MY LAST ITERATION WHERE THE MEMBERS ARE IN TENSION AND COMPRESSION AND STABLE WITHOUT STICKIONG.

Form and Experience

Studio 5, The star

Every evening during the summer at Vermilion Sands the insane poems of my beautiful neighbour drifted across the desert to me from Studio 5, The Stars, the broken skeins of coloured tape unravelling in the sand like the threads of a dismembered web. All night they would flutter around the buttresses below the terrace, entwining themselves through the balcony railings, and by morning, before I swept them away, they would hang across the south face of the villa like a vivid cerise bougainvillaea.

Once, after I had been to Red Beach for three days, I returned to find the entire terrace filled by an enormous cloud of coloured tissues, which burst through the french windows as I opened them and pushed into the lounge, spreading across the furniture and bookcases like the delicate tendrils of some vast and gentle plant. For days afterwards I found fragments of the poems everywhere.

This text is a part of a writing from author J.G,Ballard's story called Studio5,The star following ths text I worked on developing drawing which where representative of the experience this text gave me...

Settlement Study

Mategaon

we were in mategaon for 9 days which is in Aurangabad. Learnt alot about the settlements and how the communities there live their lives.

we were later divided into 6 groups, each contributing to understand the village in different perspective.

I was in the regional group - we had to draw the outer important factories and farm on the map.
